How affiliate links are handled
When a recommendation contains an affiliate relationship, we aim to identify that relationship clearly. Affiliate links are treated as sponsored commercial links for search-engine purposes.
Editorial independence
A commercial relationship does not automatically qualify a product for inclusion and does not determine its position in a recommendation list. Our intended process is to establish the selection criteria first and then identify products that satisfy those criteria.
Prices and availability
Merchant prices, stock, shipping terms, discounts and product specifications may change after we review them. The merchant’s page is the authoritative source for the current transaction details. Unless a price is being obtained from a current verified source, we prefer not to hard-code it into our editorial content.
Sponsored content and supplied products
If content is paid for, sponsored, or materially influenced by a product supplied by a brand, that relationship should be disclosed separately from ordinary affiliate links.
